Scar Tissue Films are looking for cast and crew to collaborate on our latest short film, Captive. Captive is an intense, supernatural thriller loosely based on an old Thai legend about a malevolent spirit called the “Phi Pop”...a female spirit which inhabits the living and turns them into cannibalistic killers. The film will be helmed by award winning Director Richard D. Kinsella. Shooting will take place over 5 days near Delamere Forest in Manchester from 16th to 20th April . We are looking for: Production assistant. Cinematographer/Camera OP. The film is intense and dynamic, and we are looking for someone who can demonstrate those sensibilities. Showreel required. Steadycam Operator. Camera Assistant. Gaffer. Sound Recordist. Boom Operator. Set Designer. Grips. The film is low budget and self funded so we will only be able to offer £50 per day payment, although there will be money for equipment and materials. Food will also be provided, and accommodation if necessary. Those involved will get an IMDB credit and a copy of the film. We expect the film to compete strongly in suitable film festivals.
